1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the paradigmservices.ca website and any plumbing, gas fitting, electrical, or drain cleaning services booked or requested through it, by phone, or in person, from Paradigm Services and Installations LTD ("Paradigm Services," "we," "us," or "our").

By using this website, requesting an estimate, or booking a service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or request our services.

2. Description of services

Paradigm Services provides residential and commercial plumbing, gas fitting, electrical, and drain cleaning services across Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley & Sea-to-Sky, including Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Burnaby, New Westminster, Surrey, and surrounding communities, for homeowners, businesses, strata corporations, and property managers.

Services are performed by Jon, the owner, personally. Availability, including 24/7 emergency response, is offered on a best-effort basis and is not guaranteed for any specific date or time.

3. Estimates & pricing

Free estimates are provided for non-emergency work. Emergency call-outs, diagnostic visits, and after-hours work may carry a service charge, which will be communicated before a technician is dispatched wherever possible.

We provide transparent, upfront pricing and aim to explain the scope of work and associated cost before any paid work begins. Final pricing may change if the actual scope of work differs materially from what was visible or described at the time of the estimate — for example, hidden damage discovered once a wall, fixture, or panel is opened up.

4. Scheduling, access & cancellations

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property, work area, and any relevant utilities (water, gas, electrical panel) for the scheduled appointment, and to disclose known hazards, prior repairs, or code concerns relevant to the job.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call 778-938-5311 as early as possible. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may affect future scheduling priority.

5. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing in advance. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking or invoicing.

Any deposit paid for materials or scheduled work is applied to the final invoice. Unused deposits for cancelled jobs are handled case by case, with materials already ordered or special-ordered non-refundable.

6. Workmanship & limitation of liability

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. Manufacturer warranties on parts, fixtures, and appliances (such as water heaters) are separate from and in addition to any workmanship warranty and are governed by the manufacturer's own terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paradigm Services and Installations LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from delays, pre-existing conditions, or issues with plumbing, gas, electrical, or drainage systems that were not part of the agreed scope of work. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under British Columbia law.

The text, images, and branding on this website belong to Paradigm Services and Installations LTD or are used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without consent.

Content on this site — including service descriptions, tips, and FAQs — is provided for general information and does not replace an on-site assessment. Always call 778-938-5311 for anything urgent, including a suspected gas leak.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or for legal or operational reasons. The "Last updated" date below will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site or our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
