A Waterproof Solution for a Leaking Shower

This 20 year old shower base failed and water was leaking through the grout and into the walls on the other side of the shower.  A full gut of the shower area was required in order to properly waterproof it and repair the water damage caused by the leak.
 
Rather than go with tiles for the new base, we installed a quartz shower pan.  This ensures that there is no chance of any leaks coming through the base now or in the future.  Easy to clean, no maintenance, and textured on the bottom to prevent slippage.  It is the perfect installation for this rental unit in a nice apartment in downtown Vancouver.
